Introducing Docker For Administrators

Docker is everywhere in the development world right now and is very much part of IBM’s software deployment plans going forward but if you’re an Administrator you have probably never worked with it. Docker isn’t virtualisation and despite the rumours, you still need a good administrator to manage the containers, the networking, the software, the operating system and the connectivity between images. In this session we will explain the architecture of docker, how containers are created, deployed and managed along with options for clustering.
